To the editor: Friends of Rockingham Library gives thanks for community support

The Friends of the Rockingham Free Public Library wishes to thank the Rockingham community for its participation in the Holiday Celebration at the RFPL on Saturday, Dec. 6.
We thank the many area businesses and artists who contributed merchandise and gift certificates for the raffle. The fundraising efforts of the Friends of the Library help support the work of the library in the community. Educational programs, computers, books, media, special events and a fantastic staff help bring people into the library so that the library can enrich the lives of the youth and adults in the community.
We look forward to more special events at the Rockingham Free Public Library throughout 2015. Be sure to follow RFPL on Facebook to see what is happening each day!
