The cast of Weston Playhouse’s “All My Sons”

production of the playhouse’s five-year American Masters series, an initiative dedicated to bringing classics of American drama to Weston’s stage with artists of national stature. All My Sons runs Aug. 25 through Sept. 4 at the playhouse at 12 Park St. in Weston.

The story chronicles the events of a single summer day in which hard-working, self-made family man Joe Keller is forced to face the consequences of his past actions so that his son can have a better life. Weston’s production embraces the timeless themes of family, community and the American Dream and pays homage to Miller’s first major success.

Running two hours and 15 minutes including intermission, curtain times are Tuesday–Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday and Saturday at 2 p.m., and Sunday at 3 p.m. To purchase tickets by call the box office at 802-824-5288 or by visit westonplayhouse.org.

Aug. 27-28: Folk artist Stevenson at Vermont Country stores

Meet artist Martha Stevenson

Vermont folk artist, Martha Stevenson, will be at the Vermont Country stores in Weston and Rockingham selling an expanded assortment of her paintings and prints. The event takes place at 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Weston on Saturday, Aug. 27 and on Sunday, Aug. 28 at Rockingham.

Aug. 27: Musician Frankenreiter performs in Stratton

Singer/songwriter surfer Donavon Frankenreiter performs at 7:15 p.m. Saturday Aug. 27 at Stratton Mountain Resort on 5 Village Lodge Road , choosing from his catalog and latest album The Heart.
