Rotary seeks families to host Thai student

The Rotary Club of Chester will be sponsoring a young woman from Thailand as the Rotary International Inbound Exchange Student for the school year 2012/2013, and is looking for host families for her.

Host families will enjoy the benefits of having a teenage daughter to share their household with, together with an opportunity to learn about a new culture and to share our Vermont lifestyle. Each family will host the student for three to four months. The student will be attending Green Mountain Union High School.

A host family should have children at GMUHS, should be willing to consider the exchange student as a member of the family and should be outgoing and enthusiastic about participating in the exchange student experience.

If you are interested in talking learning more about hosting our inbound exchange student, beginning Aug. 15, 2012 and ending July 5, 2013, please call Bill Dakin at 802-875-3456.
