The Chester Rotary’s Annual Summer Concert Series will be held five Thursdays in a row starting July 12 when The Dave Keller Band returns following last year’s noteworthy performance.
On July 19, Chester’s own blues treasure Chris Kleeman will take center stage with his band.
The husband and wife duo of Lisa Brande and Mark Trichka, known as Easy Street, will be performing with boogie woogie keyboardist and drummer Jeff Potter on July 26.
Returning to Chester for the Aug. 2 date, is The Starline Rhythm Boys, always enjoyable with a fine mix of country, honk-tonk, bluegrass and blues. And the concert season is rounded out on Aug. 9 with the dynamic and unique sounds of Rusty Belle.
All concerts are free and are held from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the Academy Building lawn across from the Green in Chester.
Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and be prepared to sit back and listen to some great music on a summer night right in downtown Chester. In case of rain, concerts will be held at the Stone Hearth Inn, Route 11 West. All concerts are free and for all ages. For more information call 875-3400.
