To the editor: Charlie Macko Racing thanks local sponsors
The Chester Telegraph | Oct 28, 2012 | Comments 0
Three years ago, our family formed a kart racing team, Charlie Macko Racing. Charlie was 5 years old, and had began kart racing at Twinstate Speedway in Claremont, NH. At that time, we asked two local businesses if they would like to sponsor Charlie in his racing efforts. The Killarney and the Verespy family of Chester and Pinnacleview Equipment and the Snide family from Walpole, NH, joined Charlie Macko Racing offering support to our racing team. And last year, the Springfield Professional Firefighters Local 2750 and Risko Foundations in Connecticut joined our racing family with sponsorship of Charlie’s fire and safety equipment.
Now, three years after he began, Charlie continues to be successful on the track and advancing in his racing efforts. The 2013 race season will have Charlie racing a full-time, 15 race series at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in a Bandelero car. He will gain more exposure, racing on both NASCAR weekends at Loudon!
Charlie Macko Racing would like to thank our local sponsors and our friends and family who continue to support and encourage our family every week on the racetrack. As a friend of our racing family has said, “We remember the heartache and frustration that racing can bring, but it will not overshadow the amazing moments that bring enormous smiles to our face.” Thank you again for helping our family be a part of such an amazing sport! If you or your business is interested in joining the CMR team please contact Katie Macko at kt.macko@yahoo.com or on Facebook.
Sincerely,
The CMR Team
