The producers of a short film, currently in production in Chester, are looking for extras of all ages and additional cast for a funeral scene to be shot at the Fullerton Inn, 40 The Common, on Thursday, Dec. 20. Call time is 4 p.m. Thursday, with filming expected to be finished around 7:30 p.m.
Those under 18 must bring a note signed by a parent saying that they give permission to be in the scene. And dress is “funeral casual.”
The short film, titled “And After All,” was written and is being directed by Chester native and photographer Julian Ungano.
The film, produced by La Lutte Continue and Shooting Films of New York City, is the story of Charlotte (played by Annabelle Dexter-Jones), a young, hip artist living in New York City. On the eve of her first major solo exhibition, she struggles to keep up as the center of attention while facing betrayal by her best friend Lux (played by Byrdie Bell). The morning after, Charlotte is shocked by news that her mother has died suddenly. Truly alone for the first time and questioning life decisions, she ventures home to pick up the pieces and reconnect with her first love from high school, J.G. (played by Jordan Blumetti).
