Eight students from the Chester/Ludlow area will participate in the upcoming Opera Theatre of Weston production of Noye’s Fludde (Noah’s Flood) by Benjamin Britten. The one-act opera is a unique take on the well-known biblical tale of Noah and his Ark. Noye’s Fludde will mark the 13th annual Opera in Winter produced by OTW.
Green Mountain Union High School student Katherine McNally will perform the lead youth role of Mrs. Ham, a wife of one of Noah’s sons. She will be joined by Morgan Brown of Ludlow, Aiyana and Natasha Fortin of Mount Holly and Adam Culver and Grace Thompson of Grafton, who will appear in the 24-member animal chorus.
Dancers Ava Hill of Andover and Eliza Rounds of Chester will perform the roles of the Raven and the Dove.
