Sage Jewelry teams with Polish Pottery in bigger location

It was a chilly Saturday evening with snow, salt and sand still on the ground. But the move had to be done. Sage Jewelry, which for two years has sat snuggly inside the Moon Dog Cafe, on Main Street right off the Green in Chester, needed larger digs. Jeweler and owner Michele Bargfrede was teaming up with Cindy Cole, owner of the Polish Pottery Shop, to rent 78 The Common, down the street from the Moon Dog and between DaVallia Art & Accents and Country on the Common.
But first, two large and heavy quarter-sawn oak and glass display cases had to be moved. One would be rolled down The Common; the other would be transported by truck. Bargfrede cringed just thinking about moving such pieces — ah, the possibilities for calamity. But thanks to her husband Dave Bargfrede and friends Tyler Keith and Ian Sutherland, the move went smoothly.
On Sunday, Bargfrede wrote, “The move went smoothly, ready to unpack and display all the beautiful items.” The shop’s grand opening weekend is set for Jan. 19 and 20, but Bargfrede hopes the store will be open before that event.

Nice article. Glad to have great new neighbors. This combined shop will be a wonderful addition to the Green.
Thanks Cynthia! This is great!
