The 41 members of the Green Mountain Union High School Class of 2013 graduated under perfect skies on Friday evening, June 21 on the grounds of the school. In attendance were family and friends of the graduates as well as members of the school faculty, the board of education and the supervisory union. Following speeches from class salutatorian Katie McNally and valedictorian Jessica Ralston and social studies teacher Melissa Palmer, awards and diplomas were presented to the students. Senior members of the chorus — Ann-Marie Toussaint, Katie McNally, Lindsay Osgood and Traci Martin — sang “Homeward Bound.” And as a parting gift to the school, the Class of 2013 presented a pergola.
