3rd annual Rotary Cabaret a singular sensation

A s dinner winds down, the spotlight comes up and the third annual Chester Rotary Cabaret is under way. Students from Green Mountain Union High School’s drama and music departments entertained an enthusiastic crowd of diners on Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Newsbank Conference Center.

The performances were proceeded by a dinner prepared by the Fullerton Inn of Chester. More than 30 students — and one alum — performed skits and musical and dance numbers under the guidance of music and drama teachers Cindy Austin and Fritz Wendlandt. Among items auctioned off were a handmade quilt in autumn colors, created by Denise Caron, and a cemetery tour that will include and drinks. All proceeds are to benefit the school music and drama departments. Click a photo to launch the gallery. To learn more about the Chester Rotary, click here.
