The Chester Planning Commission will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, May 19 so that the public can give its opinions on the most recent version of the town’s Unified Development Bylaws. The bylaws are comprised of Chester’s zoning regulations, subdivision standards and flood damage prevention standards.
The meeting will be held at Town Hall, 556 Elm St. in Chester.
Among the changes incorporated in the new bylaws are the creation of new zoning districts, the change of allowable lot sizes in some districts, changes in allowable uses in many districts and the imposition of noise standards in all districts.
When the final draft of the bylaws and zoning maps is available, The Telegraph will link to them and publish an analysis of the changes.

David, the Development Bylaws are getting a few final changes and as soon as they are available to us we will link to them (and the maps.) We will also analyze the changes from the current regulations. Check back early next week.
Could the Chester Telegraph perhaps publish a link in the article so people can find the specific changes that may or may not affect them? It would, of course, be helpful to review the suggested changes prior to the meeting in May.
Where, on-line, can we find a link to the proposed new zoning districts?
Where, on-line, can we find if our district has a proposed change in the allowable lot size?
Where, on-line, can we find if our district has a proposed change in the allowable use?
And where, on-line, can we find the proposed imposition of noise standards?
