Bonnie Book doll to be raffled for Whiting Library

Whiting Library is raffling a Bonnie Book doll. The doll, created and donated by Chester doll maker Bonnie Watters, is Watter’s way of giving back to the Chester’s town library, located at 117 Main St. The Bonnie Book doll is a motif doll; her eyes are books. The inspiration for the doll came from Watters’s own love of reading as a child.
Raffle tickets are $5 each or six for $25 for this special prize valued at $210. Purchase raffle tickets at the library, at Bonnie’s doll gallery, or on the Chester Fall Festival on the Green on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 20 and 21.
