Springfield Med offers portal for patients to connect with personal health services

SPRINGFIELD
Springfield Medical Care Systems has instituted its physician practice patient portal, with new and improved features that include the ability to request and view appointments, refill prescriptions, and message clinicians and nurses.

The service is free, and makes information readily available via any computer or smartphone including:

  • Request and view appointments;
  • Refill prescriptions, 24/7;
  • Message clinicians or nurses;
  • Vitals;
  • Labs;
  • Immunizations;
  • Allergies;
  • Medications;
  • Clinical conditions

The portal uses encryption for all communications, information or attachments, and secure messages and information are password protected.

All its patients to sign up today and gain the benefits the patient portal offers to help you manage personal health, check your health records 24/7, and gain anywhere/anytime access to your physician practice medical information.

Contact your primary care provider’s office to request portal access or visit Springfield Health Center at 100 River St. in Springfield. Be sure to bring a legal form of identification with you to complete the sign-up process.

Signing up now makes you eligible for prize drawings for $50 gift certificates to area restaurants, held weekly until Sept. 30. Your name will also be entered in the grand prize drawing to win an iPad Mini. The winner will drawn on Oct. 1.
