Londonderry Transfer Station tests Sunday hours

Londonderry Transfer Station and Recycling Center

Effective Jan. 1, 2015. the Londonderry Transfer Station and Recycling Center will extend hours to 10  a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays. This is in addition to its current hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays and Thursdays through Saturdays.

Sunday hours are part of a pilot program.

An attendant will be running the trash collection. And the center is looking for volunteers to man the recycling portion. Training will be available. If you can help please email londonrecycle@vermontel.net or call 802-824-3306.

The Londonderry Transfer Station serves the towns of Londonderry, Landgrove, Peru, Weston and Windham and is located at 7060 Rt. 100, Londonderry.
