To the editor: Chase would bring fresh energy to Chester Select Board

I am writing in support of Heather Chase as a candidate for a three-year term on Chester’s Board of Selectmen. I have known Heather for the last 12 years. I have known her as a wonderful mother of four interesting, intelligent and creative children. We have been members of the same church. As a fellow nurse, I have followed with interest the creation of her innovative and successful business. I know Heather to be strong, honest, energetic and wise.

I have also attended many public, town meetings where Heather has been present. She is a strong speaker and a respectful listener. She thinks deeply about the questions that she asks and listens carefully to the explanations that are given in reply. She studies and is knowledgeable about the complexities of the issues under consideration.

Heather cares deeply about the town of Chester and all of its citizens. I believe that Heather would bring fresh energy, innovation and a strong voice to the Chester Board of Selectmen. I strongly support her candidacy for this position and will cast my vote in her favor at our town elections in March.
