Springfield High School senior David Bryant III was selected as the winner of the recent  4-Way Test Speech Contest sponsored by the Springfield Rotary Club.

Each participant was required to do a speech of between 5 and 7 minutes on how to apply Rotary’s “Four Way Test” in relationships with other people. The work of Rotary is based upon what is called the “Four Way Test” which is:

  •  Is it the truth?

  • Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
  • Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

The winner of the District Finals will receive a top prize of $700. Those will be held as part of the annual Rotary District 7870 Conference in Portland, Me., on Saturday, May 30.
