Keene woman arrested for helping fugitive in Wing killing

A 29-year-old Keene, N.H., woman was arrested on Tuesday, April 21 on felony counts of hindering apprehension and witness tampering in an effort to help Gregory Allen Smith avoid arrest in the shooting death of Wesley Wing in Springfield on Saturday, April 18.
Keene Police allege that Kristin Walsh attempted to coerce other witnesses and tried to arrange a plan to elude police and get Smith out of the state, then lied to police about where Smith was. Charges came as a result of the Keene Police Department’s investigation. Walsh is being held as the Cheshire County House of Corrections and will be arraigned Wednesday morning when bail will be set.
Gregory Allen Smith, 30 of Springfield, is wanted for second degree murder in the shooting death of Wesley Wing, 37 and also of Springfield.
Police say that Smith is driving a stolen white 2004 Buick Rendezvous bearing New Hampshire plates numbered 3364095.
