Plastic surgeon opens office at Chester Family Medicine

Dr. Gerald A. Drabyn MD, FACS

Springfield Medical Care Systems welcomes Gerald A. Drabyn, MD, FACS.  Dr. Drabyn is a board-certified plastic surgeon with more than 35 years of experience in hand, skin, burn and other cosmetic surgeries.

Drabyn works with children as well as adults, and specializes in cleft lip and palate surgery, cosmetic surgery and breast augmentation, reduction and reconstruction. He will offer plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic surgery services at Springfield Hospital.

Drabyn holds a Doctor of Medicine from Indiana University Medical School, Indianapolis, Ind. He completed his general surgery residency at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, and his plastic surgery residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.
