The Weston Select Board is announcing that on from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, May 28, the bridge over the West River on Lawrence Hill Road (right by Town Hall) will be closed to all traffic except emergency vehicles.
Any residents who must cross the bridge to get to their homes will have to park their vehicles on the town side of the bridge during those hours. It will be possible to cross the bridge on foot during the closing.
The closing will enable the contractors to install a new membrane over the bridge deck and repave the bridge.
Homeowners above the retaining wall project will not be impacted
