No dampened spirits for rainy July 4th Parade in Londonderry

Despite the rain on Saturday, July 4, crowds turned out in Londonderry to celebrate the United States’ 239th Independence Day with an annual parade. Kids and their parents lined up along Main Street/Route 11 to try to catch candies thrown from the floats and enjoy the music and merriment of the day.

The float of the Second Congregational Church on Main Street depicted its iconic steeple.
State Rep. Oliver Olsen carried a sign, followed up a military Jeep.
