Young’s Furniture to hold monthly charitable 50/50 raffles

Tom Ross at Young’s Furniture & Appliance in the Springfield Shopping Plaza invites everyone to stop by and buy some 50/50 raffle tickets before Thursday, July 30.
As part of a new effort to support its community, the store will be holding a 50/50 raffle each month, benefiting a different non-profit organization each month. July’s charity is the Springfield VT Wrestling Team.
Tickets are just $1 each and are available at the counter in the rear of the store during normal business hours. The winner will be drawn on Friday, July 31, with the “ pot” split between the winner and the wrestling team, which is trying to raise money for new mats this year.
