I-91 Closure this morning

UPDATE 10/29 10:20 a.m. The Vermont State Police are reporting that I-91 south between the Rockingham and Springfield exits has been reopened to one lane.
UPDATE 10/29 6:38 a.m. I-91 Southbound between exits 6 and 7 (Rockingham and Springfield exits) which was closed due to a rock slide, has now been opened to ONE LANE. The other lane will remain closed while VTrans cleans up the area, assesses the damage, and examines the risk of further rock slides. Motorists are still encouraged to seek alternate routes to ease congestion.
Vermont State Police are reporting that due to a rock slide, the southbound lane of Interstate 91 between exit 6 (Rockingham) and exit 7 (Springfield) is closed. That stretch of road will remain closed until the slide and several disabled vehicles including a tractor trailer are removed. Motorists should take alternate routes between Springfield and Rockingham southbound.Filed Under: Latest News
