“MVMC has a long history of providing high quality health-care services,” said Tim Ford, president and chief executive of SMCS. “MVMC’s geographic service area is contiguous to the current SMCS service area. As part of the SMCS network, patients will now have access to expanded services through the SMCS system, including discounted pharmaceuticals, integrated behavioral health services and dental care.”

Chuck Sweetman, president of the Board of Directors for MVMC, said, “This new relationship is a ‘win/win’ opportunity for our community:  broader access to services and improved financial security for our clinic.”
