Klezos noted as Respiratory Therapist of Year; S. Vermont arts mag teams with travel app to boost tourism

Friends and co-workers gathered on Wednesday, Dec. 2, at Springfield Hospital to

recognize Rosalind Klezos, RRT, as the 2015 Respiratory Therapist of the Year.

Cathi Kugler, RRT, said, “Roz makes a huge difference every day. Sometimes I think she walks out not knowing what a difference she makes, and I hope this plaque lets her remember that!”

Respiratory Therapy Week, originally proclaimed by President Ronald Reagan in 1982, is celebrated each year during the last full week of October. This special week recognizes the respiratory care profession and raises awareness for restoring lung health and improving patients’ lives.

SO Vermont Arts & Living, ViewBoost promote tourism with new app

ViewBoost-Discover Vermont today announced a strategic partnership designed to benefit SO Vermont Arts & Living magazine’s advertisers and readers while promoting tourism in Southern Vermont.

SO Vermont Arts & Living is a quarterly magazine chronicling the culture and sophisticated country lifestyle of Southern Vermont.

Doug Allbee, co-founder with his father Roger Allbee, says ViewBoost will promote the magazine on its website, on print materials distributed at trade shows and other events and in press releases. Collectively they are focused on providing Vermonters and visitors to the state with easily accessible, high-quality information.  The partners are committed to growing and strengthening Vermont’s tourism through a variety of mediums.

While Vermont is home to many value-added businesses, tourism remains the constant that supports the economy during all economic cycles. Without a robust tourism industry, many current businesses could no longer exist and many fewer would incubate and grow here.
