Ludlow armed robbery suspect surrenders to police

Vermont State Police are reporting that Matthew Martin, a suspect in the Dec. 21 armed robbery of the Heritage Credit Union in Ludlow, surrendered to state police and Weathersfield police at a Pikes Peak address in the town of Weathersfield at about 3 a.m. this morning.
Police say that the arrest was made without incident. Martin was also wanted on other arrest warrants in Vermont and New Hampshire. Martin is being held at Southern State Correctional Facility in Springfield.
No bail or arraignment had be set at the time of the report.
