Hit (house) and run in Andover

Telegraph logoThe Vermont State Police in Rockingham are reporting that on Saturday, Dec. 26 at about 11:45 p.m. a car traveling on Route 11 left the road and collided with a house in Simonsville.

By the time troopers arrived on the scene, the vehicle had been removed. According to police, the vehicle drove across two driveways and more than 100 feet of lawn before crashing into the front corner of the house.

The residence had minimal damage while the vehicle had damage to its front end. Debris found at the scene of the crash (along with eyewitness accounts) points to a mid-sized, dark blue sedan. After the crash, the car was driven off to the east toward Chester.
