Chester-Andover Dems raise $2,225 for Family Center fuel aid
Press release | Jan 16, 2016 | Comments 0
This annual event, held at the organization’s December meeting-turned holiday party, held at Baba a Louis’ bakery in Chester, has been ongoing since 2005.
The fundraiser, hosted by state Rep. Leigh Dakin and former state Rep. Kathy Pellett, was attended by about 50 people who also brought bags of non-perishable foods to help stock the Chester-Andover Family Center’s Food Pantry.
All proceeds are given to the Chester-Andover Family Center. In 2015, the Family Center helped 21 recipients with fuel assistance from January through April.
