Huff began work last week, getting her feet wet with Williams’ help. In an interview on Thursday, Huff said Williams left the office “very organized. It was a great transition. She made everything very easy.”
Huff, who is from New Jersey, has a long career in managing offices, including with the Monmouth County Park System in New Jersey, a real estate office in Florida and with Magic Mountain, where she also skis.
Huff, who has two grown children and two young grandchildren, says she also has been a marathon runner — running the Boston and New York marathons twice each and 10 others. She says she now “jogs up and down the hills of Vermont.”
She calls her new position“a great start to 2016 to come here to Grafton.” After a long-planned week away, Huff will return to her post on Monday, March 28. You’ll find her at the Grafton Town Offices, 117 Main St., from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.
