Maple syrup stolen from stand, police ask for help

The Vermont State Police in Brattleboro are reporting the theft of a large quantity of maple syrup from a retail stand in Dummerston.
Sometime after 5 p.m. yesterday, approximately 63 gallons of maple syrup was taken from the retail section of the farm stand at Miller and Son Orchards at 511 Miller Road.
Anyone with information regarding this theft is encouraged to call Trooper James Matthews at 802-254-2382.
