GM-RVTC students earn health-related certifications

A number of Green Mountain Union High School students were recognized on Thursday, April 14 during the GMUHS Board of Directors meeting for having earned health-related certificates in a variety of career programs at River Valley Technical Center. They are:

American Heart AssociationCulinary Arts Program, ServSafe industry-recognize credential: Trevor Moore

American Heart Association’s Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers Certification: Madeline Woods and Alexandria Steele

American Heart Association’s CPR and/or First Aid Testing: William Hudson (AHA CPR & First Aid) and  Mariah Lique (AHA CPR & First Aid)

Horticulture and Natural Resources: Jordan Powers (AHA CPR & First Aid) and Wyatt Wilbur (AHA CPR & First Aid)

Health Careers: Sierra Kemp (AHA CPR & First Aid) and Ashley Thomas (AHA CPR & First Aid)

Integrated Pre-Technical Studies: Jillian Hale (AHA CPR & First Aid), Brianna Hudson (AHA CPR & First Aid), Mackenzie Lacoste  (AHA CPR & First Aid), Emily McCann (AHA CPR & First Aid), Jakob Nowak (AHA CPR & First Aid) and Johnathon Thomas-Clark (AHA CPR & First Aid)

Also recognized among the Students of the Quarter, for the 2nd Quarter are: Finn Thurston of Audio-Video Production; Brendin Snape of Culinary Arts; and Jasmin Ricketts, also of Culinary Arts.

Also, two Green Mountain sophomores were award Silver Medals in TV Production in the statewide Skills USA competition. They are Finn Thurston and Tanner Bischofberger.
