The Whiting Library at 117 Main St. in Chester has passes for patrons for free or discounted access to Vermont historical sites, parks and museums.
Passes are available for eight Vermont state historical sites, 35 Vermont State Parks and various state museums and sites, including ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center. Library hours are Monday 10 a.m.–6 p.m., Wednesday 10 a.m.–8 p.m., Friday 10 a.m.–6 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m.–2 p.m.

The Rockingham Library is looking for people interested in playing games this summer. Scrabble, chess, cribbage and bridge are among the options, but the possibilities are endless.
