Schedule for Weston bridge closing

VTrans will shortly begin replacing bridge 98 in Weston which is located on Vermont Route 100 about a mile south of the intersection of Routes 155 and 100. Work is expected to begin on May 17 with alternating one lane traffic 24 hours a day.

The bridge will be closed for an estimated 21 days, starting at 6 a.m. on Friday, June 3.
Project schedule:
May 17 to June 2 – Alternating one-way traffic 24 hours a day
(controlled by flaggers with traffic lights at night)
May 28-30 – Two-way traffic over Memorial Day Weekend
June 3- June 23 – Bridge will be CLOSED starting at 6 a.m. on June 3
June 24 to July 8 – Alternating one-way traffic from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. only
July 2-4: – Two-way traffic on July 4 weekend
July 10: – New bridge open to two-way traffic
