The Chester Water Department is reporting that water main work from the intersection of Route 103 and River Street to Green Mountain Union High School has begun and will continue for two to three months. During that time there will be brief, localized water shutoffs. The area affected will be along that stretch of Route 103 south and on the streets that branch off the road. Shutoffs will be taking place during work hours between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Water Superintendent Jeff Holden tells the Telegraph that workers will do everything possible to notify those affected in advance
