Two candidates forums set: One for Grafton Select Board, one for governor’s office

A Candidates Forum will be held for Don Dougall and John Turner, the two candidates running fill the empty Grafton Select Board seat left when Gus Plummer resigned. That forum will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 7 at the Grafton Church, also know as the White Church at 55 Main St. in Grafton.
The election will be held from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12 at Grafton Town Hall, 117 Main St.

The Friends of Ludlow Auditorium will host a gubernatorial forum at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 21 at the Ludlow Town Hall Auditorium, 37 S. Depot St. in Ludlow.
All candidates for governor who are running in contested party elections have been invited to participate. Candidates who are running unopposed for their party’s nomination will be invited to participate in a general election candidates forum planned for Thursday, Oct. 20, also in the auditorium.
The forum will consist of questions directed at the candidates by moderator Ralph Pace followed by questions from the audience. Candidates will be given equal time to answer the questions based on time constraints monitored by the timer.
