About a half hour before the first float stepped onto the route of Londonderry’s annual 4th of July Parade on Saturday, crowds started scouting out spots to get the best view — and catch the most candy. Under warm skies and gusty winds, young families with kids in tow, senior citizens and tourists lined up along Main Street/Route 11 to enjoy the patriotic event. The parade finally kicked off a little after 11 a.m. Saturday, July 2, and ran the better part of an hour.
