Changing of the gavel 2 6 2016

The Ludlow Rotary Club continued its tradition of “changing of the gavel” at its recent meeting to honor Bret Harlow, the retiring president of the club, and Tesha Buss, the incoming president.

Harlow took the opportunity to thank the many Rotarians who had helped him during his term.  Harlow’s parents, David and Marjorie Harlow, were guests at the proceedings that honored their son.

Harlow presented special awards to show his appreciation to several Ludlow Rotarians including:

  • Mary K. Crowley, The Quiet Rotarian Awards, for membership,
  • Kimberly Benson Lampert for Service Above Self and
  • James Rumrill for Youth Exchange.

The Ludlow Rotary Club meets at 12:15 p.m. Tuesdays for lunch at DJ’s Restaurant, 146 Main St., in Ludlow. More information about Ludlow Rotary Club may be found at its web site, www.ludlowrotary.com and on its Facebook page.
