Thrift store requests your donations

The folks at Black River Good Neighbor Services are seeking donations of saleable goods for their thrift store at 37B Main St. in Ludlow.

The store carries all kinds of donated items. They are in particular need of infant clothing, kitchen utensils, fall clothing, hats and waterproof gloves.  BRGNS sells furniture from its store at 105 Main St., but does not accept large appliances or televisions.

Proceeds from purchases in both stores support the food shelf and financial assistance for those in the Ludlow, Cavendish, Mount Holly and Plymouth communities. Black River Good Neighbors is a 501(c)(3) charity and donations are tax deductible.

Bring donations to the thrift store. For large items, call ahead. More information regarding the stores, donations, volunteering, or assistance is available by calling Audrey at 802-228-3663.
