A burglar forced his way into the Singh Brothers Sunoco station at Route 103 at Exit 6 off Interstate 91 at around 4:44 a.m. Monday, Vermont State Police are saying.

Troopers from the Westminster Barracks who responded to the alarm, said it appeared that a lone burglar had forced open the front door about 11 minutes earlier and had taken a number of cartons of cigarettes then left the store in less than one minute.

A video camera showed the burglar dressed in a zip-up hooded windbreaker bearing a horizontal stripe of a darker color across the chest and back. The cigarettes stolen were Marlboro and Newport brands.

Anyone with information related to this burglary should contact Cpl. Mike Sorensen at the Westminster Barracks 802-722-4600.
