Iberdrola Renewables has invited Windham and Grafton residents to two meetings next week that it will hold in their communities.

The meetings, according to Iberdrola communication director Paul Copelman, will “present changes to the project footprint and to the community benefits package.”

Residents will learn about the revised plans to both the proposed wind project itself and to the benefits package that Iberdrola is proposing for both communities should the project go through.  Information stations will also be set up so that the community can ask questions of the developers.

Iberdrola is proposing to construct 28 500-foot wind turbines in the Stiles Brook site off Route 121 between Windham and Grafton.

The Windham meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4 at Windham Elementary School, 5940 Windham Hill Road.

The Grafton meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at Grafton Elementary School, 58 School St.
