Has anyone else noticed that there have been a lot of ghosts and goblins — not to mention superheroes and pirates — roaming the streets lately? And that they all seem to have just one thing on their minds – candy?Chester and Londonderry celebrated Halloween this week each with its own tradition. After a harvest dinner Saturday night at Chester-Andover Elementary School, trick or treaters were led by the fire department on a parade to The Green and back followed by “trunk or treat” behind the school.
In Londonderry, the Champion Fire Company and the First Baptist Church teamed up to close Main Street on Monday evening and present its annual Haunted Firehouse and Trunk or Treat. Both events drew scary crowds bent on getting a sugar rush. Click on any photo to launch the gallery. All photos by Shawn Cunningham.
