Route 4 closed between Bridgewater and Killington

Vermont State Police are advising that Route between Bridgewater and Killington is closed due to a motor vehicle crash near the intersection of Pearson Road. Police have no estimate of how long the road will be closed and ask that drivers plan on using alternate routes.

There are freezing rain advisories in effect for much of the state until 1 p.m. so if you must drive, be alert to road conditions, leave plenty of braking room and slow down.
