Police seek witness in shooting death in Poultney

A 19-year-old Poultney man was found dead of an apparent gunshot wound in a vehicle parked in a driveway on Grove Street in Poultney around 1:30 on Sunday morning.
Vermont State Police and the Fair Haven Police Department had responded to a report of a man injured by a gunshot when they found Daniel Hein, 19, dead in the vehicle.
This afternoon, the VSP said that it is seeking a potential witness identified as Jonathan Testa, 21, also of Poultney.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Testa is asked to contact State Police at the Rutland Barracks at 802-773-9101.
