According to market manager Emma Wright, “We sold out our 100 in-advance tickets and sold 20 more for a total of 120 guests and roughly 20 volunteers. … together we raised a total of $5,589,” and included $1,000 in additional donations other than from ticket sales and raffles held that night. In an email Wednesday morning, Wright wrote to The Telegraph that food and drinks were provided by local businesses including Stemwinder, Goodman’s American Pie, The Eatery, Homestyle, Gamebird, Main + Mountain, Mount Holly Beer and The Wine and Cheese Depot. “Live music,” she added, “was performed by Max Cassano (acoustic, given the heavy and wet snow!).”
She said she was thrilled with the turnout, and “when the snow picked up, people were cheering us on to continue shouting out the raffle prize winners. And when the snow really picked up, an incredible amount of guests stayed behind to help us all clear the street and get our materials out of the snow.”
