The Easter Bunny hopped into Chester Saturday morning under blue skies and to the welcoming smiles of 75 kids and their parents, as the Chester Rotary once again hosted its Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Chester-Andover Elementary School.
Chocolate eggs were spread like grass seed across lawn, garden and the Castle playground by Rotary members, including Interact students, as they readied for the hunt. Parents and their eager children began arriving around 8:30 a.m. for the 9 a.m. start.
Rotarian Susan Spaulding arrived bearing gifts from The Vermont Country Store — bags filled with multicolored mini-eggs of chocolate and marshmallow and boxes of large eggs made of coconut covered with chocolate. Although every child received one of each, there was still more left over. And 16 children who found plastic eggs were given toys. Click each photo to enlarge.
