Chester Firefighters secure the area early Friday morning following a gas tanker accident on Route 11.
The driver was not injured, but the some of the gas began leaking into the yard of the white house in which the tractor-trailer landed.
Crews lay booms near the Williams River to prevent gas from reaching the river.
Firefighters from all over and in all states of readiness flocked to the site to help out early Friday morning.
Emergency personnel lined up at the site of the overturned trailer and the spill on Route 11.
More fire crews head to the overturned truck with foam and other equipment.

After emptying the tanker-truck, wreckers came in to hoist it upright early Friday evening.
It was slow going.
And it took a lot more effort …
Once it was upright, the damage …
was obvious.
