To the editor: Neighborhood Connections thanks Thrifty Attic for support

Neighborhood Connections thanks the Thrifty Attic for its recent donation. This grant is intended for Neighborhood Connections’ Senior Wellness program and will enable us to provide senior citizens in our community with a range of services including case management, health education, social support programs and other interventions designed to assist individuals to remain independent and in their own homes.
We greatly appreciate the very valuable community service Thrifty Attic and its volunteers provide to our community. It is wonderful to have them as a partner and resource in assisting our neighbors in need. Their help is essential to so many of us working to ensure a strong and thriving community.
Neighborhood Connections strives to create a “virtuous circle,” mobilizing resources in the community (volunteer partner organizations, local government, entrepreneurs, nonprofit service agencies, private practitioners and volunteers) and serving as a platform to address service gaps and needs on both an individual and community-wide basis. As a result our neighbors are able to improve their health and well-being and be productive and supportive members of our community.
Sincerely,
Tom Dougherty
