Sunday, April 3, Windham – A 55-inch flat screen television was taken in a burglary from a residence on Abbott Road.

Thursday, April 7, Jamaica – A person stole beer from the Rawsonville Marketplace on Route 30.

Thursday, April 7, Londonderry – At about 5:30 a.m. a driver traveling east on Route 11 veered off the road and into a culvert. The car rolled onto its roof and stopped. The driver was uninjured, but the car was removed by a tow truck and the driver was cited for failing to maintain his lane.

Friday, April 8, Cavendish – A Chester woman was taken into custody and cited into Windsor Superior Court for assaulting a man outside a Main Street residence.

Friday, April 8, Rockingham – Just before midnight, a Saxtons River man traveling east on Route 121 in an SUV left the north side of the road. The man was injured in the crash and treated on the scene. He was also cited for driving under the influence and taken to Springfield Hospital complaining of chest pains.

Saturday, April 9, Landgrove – Vermont State Police responded to an accident on Route 11 only to find no one in the car. On investigation, troopers charged a Peru man with driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.

Saturday, April 9, Landgrove – A man driving a pickup truck east on Route 11 in the town of Peru came upon an area of snow and ice and lost control of the truck. The vehicle went off the road and rolled on its roof. The driver was uninjured, but the truck was totaled. VTrans responded to the area to treat the roadways, which had become icy suddenly and unexpectedly.

Sunday, April 10, Londonderry – A complainant on Barker Road told police that a vehicle had pulled off the road and played loud music for 45 minutes, then left the area.

Wednesday, April 13, Londonderry – A Melendy Hill Road resident reported that a two and a half foot tall statue of a male face was stolen from her flower garden. The theft may have occurred on the afternoon of the 11th. The statue was a gift and had a great deal of sentimental value.

Saturday, April 16, Londonderry – Police responded to the report that a car was being driven erratically on Route 11. The trooper found the car off the roadway and stuck in a ditch part way up the hill to the west of downtown Londonderry.  The driver was suspected of being under the influence of prescription medication and was taken to the Rockingham State Police Barracks for processing and issued a citation to appear in court at a later date.

Thursday, April 21, Landgrove – Vermont State Police received three 911 hangup calls and responded to a Landgrove Hollow Road address only to find the house empty and posted. On investigation, it was found that the number that the calls had originated from was not in service.

Friday, April 22, Londonderry – A person from Massachusetts complained to Vermont State Police that a Londonderry company had failed to deliver an order of supplies. The complainant had asked for a refund, but the refund check bounced. VSP advised that this was not a case they could take and referred the complainant.

Friday, April 29, Cavendish – Police responded to the report of a theft from a house on Route 103. The theft of car keys (but not the car) valued at $30 was reported.
