Fletcher Memorial Library
Jill Tofferi, Director
Fletcher Memorial Library has been a non-profit 501(c)3 IRS organization since this status was created. I believe our first letter is dated 1937. We are not a municipal department or bound to our any town in any way. The library opened in 1901; it was built and given to the town of Ludlow to serve as a free library for the residents of Ludlow and Cavendish. We have happily expanded our free service area to include Mount Holly and Plymouth.
Because of Covid-19 we are unable to hold our Annual Silent Auction and the “Friends” annual book sale. These are our only fund-raising events, and the monies raised provide all of our technology (i.e., hardware, software, and tech support), memberships, passes purchased to museums for loan, etc. None of these enhanced services are in our budget. These would have been our 20th annual events. We raise approximately $7,000.
Donations are accepted on our web site’s home page via PayPal or by check.
