Chester Recreation Area
About
During the winter, the Pinnacle is a perfect place to bring the family to sled, cross-country ski or snowshoe. This gentle slope used to have a rope tow for down-hill skiing. During the spring, the Skate Park and tennis courts buzz with activity and, once summer hits, well, it's time to hit the pool. Lifeguards are on duty. There is a small charge for non-taxpayers. Town Recreation director Matt McCarthy also plans a summer filled with sports programs, including swim lessons geared toward your child's abilities. Small fees are charged for these programs.
